This is a Viennese institution for Turkish food. The location is right in the center of many immigrant households and ethnic food options - think of 1150 as the Kreuzberg of Vienna. So authentic food? Check

The restaurant is spacious and cozy, like a hello from days gone by, like a traditional pub from the 1980s. Service is quick, attentive, and professional.

The food is some of the best Turkish the city has to offer, and given that Vienna has been lucky to have received an influx from Turkish migrants since the 1970s, that is high praise. We got the Ezme (a spicy side salad), cacik (Joghurt with garlic and cucumber), lentil soup, doner Kebap (beef), and a mixed grill platter (karsik izgara). Everything was very tasty, portions were generous, and prices adequate.

Worst Turkish food I've ever had. The service was poor. Our food came out and the appetizers came out 10 minutes later after a reminder. The bread served was cold and stale. Most of the dishes had no flavor. The only thing that actually tasted good was a chicken dish that we hadn't even ordered - they brought it instead of something else that we'd ordered.
They wouldn't bring the check after we asked 3 times. Finally had to walk to the front to pay.

The waiter take their jobs too seriously, meaning. They let you wait. Even if you look at them. They won't come. Been there twice, everytime the same

Had a coupon from daily deal, so I came here for lunch.
The service was quick and friendly.
The restaurant is just right outside Schweglerstraße ubahn station exit. Very bright, beautiful and clean inside. It was a little disappointing that the non smoking area is located behind the smoking area, so you will have to walk though the smoke... Which I don't like at all...
They will always give you a basket of bread in the beginning. First course was a soup of your choice; lentils, tomatoes, chicken or beef soup. I ordered chicken soup but got lentil soup instead... So I asked them to change it to the chicken soup. The base soup is tomato with pieces of chicken and pasta inside. Tasted good.
Next was a small salad with only salad leaves and raw onions with French dressing.
The main course that day was fish filet with parsley potatoes and salad with tartar sauce. The fish came cold so that was unfortunate... Even though I requested more salad instead of potatoes, they still served me the potatoes. Mixed up my order again...
Given the price of the coupon, 8,9€ for two people, I can't complain much but I don't know if I will be going back there again...
But the take out at the entrance of the restaurant is sure popular! So many people were lining up to buy their Kebab! Give it a try there, their kebab might be tasty :)

A perfect place to go before shopping the Turkish market right outside. It's never a good idea to shop hungry!

It has a pleasant atmosphere. Friendly waitstaff. Average priced. Yogurt sauce and rice a little bland. Lamb on the salty side. ADA restaurant is still my favorite Turkish place!

Dead bee in my rice and it wasnt even cooked. The takeout food was much better than the sitdown. Best kabob sandwich I've ever had.
