Johann-Strauss-Denkmal

A very beautiful monument to another of Austria's beloved sons.

Strauss, himself, is a golden figure surrounded by men, women and children draped in linens, dancing to his music.

This monument is located in the Stadtpark (city park) and pretty much commands attention from every direction.

If you love a good waltz, this is the monument to see.

Another famous composer in Austria, his golden status may be most photographed statuses around here.

Golden Johann Strauss is located at the Stadtpark. While I really liked the park, statue itself was mostly surrounded by many tourists, trying to take the same pictures.

Tour group comes and go, if you are patient enough, a moment of opportunity arise to take a picture of his without so many tourists.

In the spring, lots of flowers surround this monument and the site was pretty.

I stayed here for less than 5 minuets on my way to dinner.
