Do I recommend this business?!? It's the MECCA of Motorsports... how can I not recommend it! It's not a recommendation so much as a required pilgrimage.. for those that get it.

      Yes it's amazing.
Yes, it's the greatest track the world has ever seen.
Yes, the history here is felt in the air as you tread lightly on this hallowed ground.

And yes.... The drive to the Nurburgring is as fun as the place itself!

The inside Karting is great fun. The restaurants are good.

Pro tip on Parking: Drive right up to the front door and park at the track in their garage on the left for a few Euros. Simple and easy.

The tour was affordable and in English. We paid w cc for major stuff but cash only for food. Earplugs for the youngest ones could be ideal....
It was definitely cooler up here compared to nearby cities. Bring a sweatshirt just in case. THE (YouTuber) spot is located few mins by car away from the main part and is a MUST to visit. Once race is over all the racers meet at that parking lot to show off their cars and talk. It became an informal car-show and it was awesome to see cars up close. Check website before going. Check with information desk once you arrive to be informed on daily activities.

Spent my birthday at Nürburgring and was able to get a lap with N-Rent in Adenau. Mike was my representative at the rental car place. Spoke great English and was very knowledgeable about the track. Was really cool to be able to get on such an iconic track.

Nurburgring is a thing. If you like to drive, and if you want to take your car to the professional race track, and if you don't mind that that they only open to public in late afternoon btw 5 and 7ish, then go for it. It's in the middle of nowhere in Nurburg, and you have to drive to it.

The gift shop has cool shirts. It's the only of it's kind in the world. Yes it's one of a kind in the world. One round on the track is around 20 km or 13? miles, it will cost 29 Euro for summer of 2016. There are motorcycles, amateur and pro race car drivers and a whole lot of foreigners, most of them from England.

I enjoyed people watching. I don't like the race track. It's a bit scary actually, the fast speed makes me queasy but i can see it's appealing.

So in short, if you love driving, love driving fast, love driving race cars, love cars, this is your heavenly place.

I had a great time touring the Nürburgring, exploring it's rich racing history, learning about each turn, the drivers who made a name for themselves here, and of course, the countless others who died here. It's truly a testament to both the allure and the inherent danger of the sport. Explore the pits, the garages, the conference room, the control tower, and even the podium, during this unique F1 experience.

Take it up a notch by renting a suped up BMW M4, Porsche GT3, or Ferrari F12, and taking it around the track.

Drive it like you stole it.

This was our first official stop for this trip. My husband rented a car from one of the businesses who operates on the track. I went to the local cafe- Devil's Deli- which is worth pointing out is not a deli- it's more of a 'greasy spoon' cafe, to wait for him to hop on.

The afternoon hours see motorcycles & cars all getting ready to drive at the same time. Everyone at different experience levels & some vehicles which look like they shouldn't have been able to survive the drive down to the track in the first place. This felt to me like a disaster waiting to happen. Luckily, or unluckily if you were a motorcyclist, they were called off the track within the first 1/2 hour due to oil that spilled on the track.

I wasn't sure if I was feeling up to it but I did have a ride shotgun, with a professional driver for one lap. I did it & holy moly that was FUN! I kept reminding myself to look up at the view which is beautiful forest, instead of just focusing on the track in front of me. The only time I felt nervous is when we needed to pass a less experienced driver.

This really was a bucket list item for my husband & frankly, I enjoyed it throughly. I do think there are some safety concerns about letting anyone & everyone (on anything !) on track together but at least for us there were no incidents. Be careful out there!

      Wow... what a buzz.

The Nordschleife is open during weekends and during the week for a couple of hours in the evening during the summer months. It is worth checking on the website to make sure that they intend to open the track and it's also worth noting that they don't strictly abide to the times published. When we were there, it opened late and was closing early to allow some private testing by one of the car companies.

Widely considered one of the most challenging race tracks in existence, we decided to take a Ford Focus around it. Buying tickets was easy, there's a counter next to the toll where you join the track and although it was busy, it seemed that most people were there to watch the cars and not go around themselves.

As for the track, unless you've got a sports car, keep to the right. You will get passed by people with faster cars who know the track better than you. There were no accidents while we were there, which was good as there are very few marshals around to deal with them if you do crash.

It's an amazing buzz, but stay safe!

My son rented a race prepped Suzuki swift fitted with roll cage from www.rent4ring.de to drive on this world famous Nurburgring race track. As a whole, this was a great experience for me and my son who actually did the driving. It was really an awesome experience for me even as a passenger :) If you are a first time rookie like us, keep to the right of the track. You *will* get passed by some serious drivers with fast cars who know the track better than you and are very skilled.

Bar none the best track on the planet. It was on my bucket list of things to do before i kick the bucket.

It was worth every penny. I was already in Frankfurt for Automechanica convention, and was a short drive 1:45minutes to Nurburgring.

We had a rental car from the airport, a SEAT Leon which is a 1.8L 4 banger cranking out about 150hp, which is plenty to explore the track with. paid 198 euro for 9 laps ringcard, lined up for the toll gate, swiped my ringcard, and first time ever, did a lap time of 11minutes and 30 seconds, not too shabby! It was ridiculously fun, and as i drove on Laguna Seca, Thunderhill, Buttonwillow, and Infineon here in CA in recent past, i can say there is no track quite like Nurburging. The biggest difference is the vertical G's you can pull and feel. No other tracks I've been on gave you all this elevation change, and it is scary as almost every turn out of the 90+ turns are either blind, or off camber, so I don't recommend first timers with little track experience taking racing lanes, instead stay to the right and go 6/10 max.

You will find many photographers taking your photo, feel free to throw up peace signs! You will find your photos for purchase online.

Oh, i rented a race prepped citroen DS3 turbo that was equipped with roll cage, kw v3's and toyo r888 r-compound tires on the second day i was here, and managed a 10minute and 25 seconds lap, but the suspension setup was horrible on the car where they purposely had it at full soft, and was constantly bottoming out, which made it scary to drive on slalom type turns. If you rent from rent4ring.de make sure you manually click the shocks a few turns up!
