Review for SELLENY - The Hilton restaurant/ lobby area.
I really wanted to give the restaurant 5 stars but we stopped for lunch and I ended up so incredibly sick later that day . Threw up 3 times. The party I came with all got sandwiches and they were delicious and did not get sick so it was just me who ordered the beef dumplings soup. Giving two stars because everyone else enjoyed the meals and did not it get sick.
It's very beautiful and service was very quick and friendly. So I would stick to drinks there if I ever returnHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - CK N.Mundelein, Vereinigte Staaten0199. Dez. 2022
What's the point of advanced check in 24 hours before and to find that the room isn't ready at 4 pm on the day of check in? And the air to check in was over 30 minutes. It was the worst check in experience I ever had in any Hilton hotel chain outside of the US. Do not promise your guest in advance something you cannot deliver and still make no amends for the massive screw up. Will I return? Most likely not and my association with Hilton honors ain't worth it. It's back to Marriott and Hyatt or any other decent hotels for me.

It's been an outstanding stay at the Vienna Park Hilton. The room is beautiful and the staff have been perfect. Anon started this two weeks out great for us and we are still enjoying the hotel. Especially the executive lounge.

My review is based on a limited stay at the Hilton Vienna Park.
We arrived in Wien amidst a complete lockdown due to COVID infection rates. We missed our flight back to Seattle, WA - USA from Frankfurt due to Austria Airlines fault. The airline covered a one night stay at the Hilton Vienna Park hotel, one of the few hotels open for business relations and transient travel accommodations. Austria Airlines provided us a roundtrip airport transfer to the hotel and two meals at the Hilton (limited menu for Austria Airline guests).
Hotel staff was extremely nice and accommodating. Even with the limited business and cultural center openings due to lockdown the reception staff was still able to provide as much insight for activities we could freely do. Hotel was spotless and so were our rooms. The hotel is conveniently located close to much of the cultural sights in Wien but still not a very walkable city in my opinion. I'm in my mid-30's and was able to walk to the famous cathedral, music halls, and palaces but if you're with a young family or older folks you'll require other means of transportation other than by foot.
We dined in at the hotel and was greeted by their limited wait staff. Again the two young men were very courteous and accommodating given their limited menu options (my wife is vegetarian). We had their salad, wiener schnitzel, and Indian chicken curry. All dishes were pretty tasty.
Since we didn't experience the the hotel's accommodations during "normal" times I am giving this hotel a 4 out of 5.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Brian B.Chicago, Vereinigte Staaten361417114631. Jän. 2020
Nice property although it was under mass construction while I was there in January 2020. The main lobby entrance is closed and being redone. There was work on various floors that made some noise but no big deal. I got a large corner room with great views of the park. The location is good with about a 15 minute walk to the city central area. But right near the metro and airport train and a large mall. Nice executive lounge and the breakfast buffet was among the best quality I've had at any Hilton worldwide. Staff very friendly and helpful. I'd stay here again.

Construction was horrible. Room very noisy. I have been in other hotels doing construction who have managed the noise and interface between work and guests much better. Management insensitive to concerns

We stayed here for 4 nights and my wife and I were both pleased. As a Hilton Diamond member we were upgraded to a corner Junior Suite on the 10th floor. Room was clean, new and modern. Shower was incredible with a "turbo" function with super strong flow which my wife loved. Yes there's intermittent noise from the constructions but it was during late morning and afternoon "awake " hours so didn't bother us much at all. Plus the information regarding the construction is well known when we were booking the hotel. It is located just above the Wien Mitte Stop of S Bahn and across the street from Landstrabe U (Metro) station. Both equipped with escalators and elevators. This is very important for those of us who like to travel with public transportation instead of relying on Taxi or other similar services.

Compared to the closet where we were in Paris, the hotel here was amazing! I was upgraded to a suite, and I swear it was at least 4 times the size of our Marriott chain hotel room in Paris. The room had a huge living room (probably could easily sleep 10 people on the floor), 1.5 bathrooms, and a large bedroom. The closets were in the hallway, equipped with umbrellas, slippers, an in-room safe, etc. A long outdoor balcony stretched the length of the room (signed something that said I would be careful and not fall). I really loved the space!
The breakfast buffet was free, and it's probably the most extensive buffet I have ever visited in all my travels. We wanted to keep eating and try everything, but we were so full! There's everything from the typical American food such as eggs, bacon, and toast to a French breakfast of croissants, pastries, etc. to a Chinese breakfast of noodles, dim sum, etc. You could also get your breakfast cooked to order, whether you want overeasy eggs or an omelette with fixings of your choice!
This hotel was pricey at 494 euros for two nights, but it was worth every penny. I did not feel we were outside of the city's center, as an uber driver explained. There were plenty of restaurants, a large park across the street for a leisurely stroll, close to a Hop On/Hop Off stop, and also close to a night of classical music with the Wiener Mozart Orchestra. I would definitely stay here again!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
