The food here was very average. The sushi rolls weren't anything to write home about, but I also felt like the fish was fresh enough that I wouldn't get sick later. I also tried their fried ramen noodle with chicken. The dish was beautifully presented but the noodles arrived soaking in a shallow pool of oil. The chicken was overcooked.
What really stands out here Is the service. It's terrible. The first waiter was dismissive and rude when taking my order. I thought "maybe he's just having a bad day." Nope. Another waiter came by afterwards and she too was super cold and unfriendly. I only saw one waiter ever smile, but she never came to my table.
3 stars for the food. Deducting one star for the terrible service.
And I'm so not a fan of the 0.50€ some restaurants here charge for tap water.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ana B.Steglitz-Zehlendorf, Berlin, Deutschland0215. Sep. 2019
It's so good!!! The sushi is incredible and easily the best one I've ever had + the price is reasonable and the staff is friendly

Ha-an. Sushi was really good, but I've had way better, especially here in Berlin. However the value for money and varied menu makes it worth it to bookmark this place for a future visit.
I had a Tuna Sashimi which was pretty average (hence the stars), but they had some fun options like yum Temakis and other specials. If sushi is not your thing, worry not, they also have some Vietnamese options.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - JL P.Berlin, Deutschland38519. Feb. 2017
Terrible place with extremely impolite service.
All restaurants around serve better food.
Food is EXTREMELY slow, even if you only ordered sushi.
Only for desperate tourists.
Don't even consider it.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nick S.Beverly, Vereinigte Staaten71159319554. Aug. 2013
Although Prenzlauer Berg is awash in sushi and Vietnamese restaurants, this place still managed to impress.
The rolls are inexpensive; most are in the 1-3 EUR range. My "fancy" crunch roll with shrimp and spicy mayo was still only 4 EUR. I wasn't starving, so the one roll was plenty.
Most worthy of note is actually the spicy mayo sauce. It was so good I practically left my soy sauce untouched. Like when you douse noodles in Sriracha and can't seem to get enough!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Daniel A.Berlin, Deutschland12229825526. Juli 2014
For the sushi lovers this place is really good... For the people who don't... A bit less.
It took me a while to find something to eat, and only this fact can frustrate me.
I wanted to celebrate my 100th review with seething special but this one wasn't it.
We got there last evening, it was quite full, the waiter was really nice and polite and offered us to sit downstairs - hmmm... No.
It's really nice and calm downstairs but you literally can't breath. So we waited a couple of minutes and sat outside.
Although it was raining it was fine, and then we saw a table who left and they gladly moved us inside.
So I have ordered dish no. 179- must say I don't like fish sauce but I could feel it, what bothered me is that I asked it without cilantro and got my dish with it.
We also ordered Edamame which was overboiled and therefore too soft.
My friend also liked her food - she ordered one of the soups and a shrimp roll
We also drank Moscow mule which was not too bad.
Overall the experience was quite nice but I didn't go crazy for it, I though about whether it should get 3 or four stars...Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Anna P.Stockholm, Schweden6021359029. Dez. 2013
Nice sushi in different variations, great value. Quick and polite service, free wifi and a huge cosy dining area one floor down. Perfect for a lunch, and on a cold day I could strongly recommend to order a pot of the fresh mynth tea.

Really quick and service minded staff. The sushi was delicious and definitely worth the trip and the money.

I was so blown away by this place!! I'm usually really skeptical of Asian restaurants that claim to have the cuisine of several nationalities, e.g. Ha-an Sushi has Vietnamese, Japanese, Thai, Chinese, and (me thinks) Korean food!! The menu is also huge, which is another red flag no-no for me, BUT the food is absolutely delicious! And thanks to Berlin's booming economy, everything is a great price. I ordered a huge sushi plate for 9 euros, thai soup for 5ish euros (I can't remember exactly), and a gin and tonic for 4 euros. Can't beat that!

We made the mistake of ordering sushi. It was the worst sushi I've ever had, for example the avocado of the california rolls was SUPER RAW. I mean its taste and consistency was wooden. It's impossible that it was a mistake, since the chef must have used a saw to cut it. Never again.
